To blog or not to blog…
Believe it, keeping a blog is essential to developing your brand and sharing your expertise. I view “blogging” as a great opportunity for educational marketing and engagement.
There are a few other benefits of blogging
- Creates an opportunity for sharing your information with others.
- Develops relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Refreshes your web content boosting your SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
While blogging can help develop your credibility as an expert in your field, it also provides an opportunity for authentic learning and reflection. The challenge of blogging and content creation really lies in the creation, execution and consistency of drafting and posting.
If you have found this to be a challenge, I encourage you to think about what resources do you naturally have? Do you have a list of frequently asked questions or educational literature that you have created for your customers or employees? What can you repurpose, that will be of interest?
I’ll be honest even as The Digital Pixie drafts these blog posts, I am not reinventing anything. I try and take my everyday work experiences and repackage them in an article that might be of interest to my readers. It could be a training I recently planned, a proposal I wrote, or a video I scripted where I take my original content and transform it for posting online.
